I get the opportunity to go to Belfast, Northern Ireland in just a few days and I can't wait to see this beautiful country! I have never been abroad before, so I am very excited for my first out of many adventures to come. In Northern Ireland I get to go to Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, the Titanic Museum, and much more. I will definitely be posting pictures for everyone to see. However, I will not only be doing some exploring, but I will also be volunteering and getting the chance to work with kids while I am there. I am definitely looking forward to this eight hour flight ahead of me... but in the end I know it will be worth it! Wish me luck guys :)
Aristotle once said that "adventure is worthwhile" and I believe that it is imperative that everyone gets the opportunity to venture away from their normal lives and to get out of their comfort zones. Many people say that traveling is a waste of money. Honestly, it is, but in the end the experience and the memories out ways the financial end of traveling. If we take the chance to travel outside our norms then we will never be able to have this "worthwhile" experience. An adventure can change you as an individual and can encourage you to try the things you wouldn't dare try before. They are worthwhile to me because they give you the opportunity to explore different perspectives of the world and to become someone you never have been before or to discover who you really are. Adventures open new doors and can shed new light on who we are as individuals. They are "worthwhile" in the end because you get the opportunity to become inspired and to inspire.
